RELO PACKAGE.

The existing kitchen moved into the addition (its former location now works as quiet office space). The new space creates a modern backdrop for the kitchen’s white cabinetry with stone gray counters, integrated appliances, and a central cooking island with room for casual dining. The airy room opens to an expansive back deck where family and friends take in the outdoors.

OPEN SEASON.

The new kitchen now opens directly into the addition’s shared dining and living area, all of which are washed in natural light with ample views to the outdoors.

DRINK ORDER.

The dining area niche houses a convenient undercounter fridge and an extra base cabinet for storage. Above, white floating shelves pop against the same calming blue featured on the opposite accent wall.

VALUE ADD. The owners of this Colonial Revival loved its quiet neighborhood and characteristic brick façade. But the traditional floor plan left little room for growth. The solution would come with a rear addition that respects the home’s existing architectural style while creating a more open, flexible plan to support the everchanging nature of family life.
