Basement’s Loaded

These clients thought their awkward downstairs space was barely usable for storage—until we showed them how to play hardball. Now a 50-inch plasma screen and integrated sound system take center field on a curved wall for built-in storage and display, making it a media hit with family and friends alike.

Broadening the stairs with maple and cable-rail detailing invites traffic up and down. The office setup keeps the computer in full view when the kids are doing homework.

Maple, bamboo, and concrete combine to make up the material palette for the entertainment center.
